Everyone loves projects, especially bike projects. At any one stage I have several projects on the go which means I don’t have a lot of working bikes which is a bit crazy, but to be expected. This year (2023) I intend on making some headway starting with my GPz1100B2.

GPz1100B1
The B1 was purchased as a complete bike with DFI intact and was running, but I cannibalised a few parts and parked it with no real goal of it being returned to running status. Now with a concrete plan in place. It needs reassembly, paint and testing. In terms of parts and assembly, its 99% complete. Has a period correct aftermarket fibreglass B2 style fairing in original red. Needs to be mounted and checked.
From the factory, it should look like this but with a 4 into 2 exhaust:

Rolling Frame 95% complete, engine assembled but needs testing, carbs ready to install. Needs paint and exhaust. Has a few non-factory parts which have now been returned back to factory.
1976 z900A4
I cancelled the registration on this bike as its been off the road for a while now and the ZX9R’s were taking all my project time. I need to fix the brakes, and fix the pulled transmission cover set screw.
1977 z650 Cafe Racer project
This picture, taken the day it was purchased shows the “modified” rear section of the frame. It was in a terrible state and everything needed to be stripped and rebuilt. Decided to make a CR out of it and fuly customise every part of it.
